With the Government’s introduction of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme TDS in April 2007, it has become clear how critical it is to have a professional and independently compiled inventory in order to protect the interest of all parties involved in the letting process.

The TDS is intended to make matters easier and fairer in the event of any dispute, and the resolution of such will have to be based on carefully written and recorded evidence – the sort of evidence only a professional and independently prepared inventory can provide.
